We got a bit unlucky in our stay: although the hotel facilities were fine, it turned out there was a big (and very loud) block party special event happening immediately outside the hotel on the evening of our stay, so we had EDM pumping through the place until 11:30pm. We also got unlucky in that the other room in the corridor ended up occupied by a couple that spent the first hour of our stay having a full-on domestic, before one of them left leaving behind the one who thumped around drunk and left the door of the shared bathroom open while he urinated. If it hadn't been for those things, I think we would have had a lovely stay! The shared bathroom facilities were clean and comfortable (apart from Mr Alfresco Pissoir), the beds were comfortable, and the rooms were old but nice - I imagine it would get hot in summer with no air con, but in September it was very pleasant.
