Very good 8.0
Great place, great location, new facilities.
I had a great time here. The location was great and Asakusa is good for accessing airport and there are many things to see. The market nearby is fun and the metro is close where you can access the rest of Tokyo easily. Also, the area is much more quite in the evening to rest. There are great restaurants nearby, convenience stores and 24 hours supermarket. Staff are great, they help and always try their best to ensure guests are happy. The place is very clean, new and well designed in a very nice old charming part of Tokyo. The only negative is that there are no locker for luggage. The bottom beds are partially blocked by luggage and the step leader for the bunk bed above. It was hard to go in and out without having to twist your body.

Exceptional 10.0
Samurai Hostel is unexpectedly the BEST choice!
Definitely recommended for solo travel. I came to Tokyo on 19th May 2019 and stayed in Samurai Hostel until 22nd May 2019. Their service is superb! The fact that I can leave your luggage with them after checked out while waiting for my night flight which I appreciate it a lot. I got free coke with customised bottle from the owner/staff of the hostel. I would come again and stay in this hostel.

Nice, clean, but noisy
It's a nice hostel. A little bit loud at night because of other guests and the bed isn't the most comfortable amongst hostels that we stayed, but it served the purpose. It's also close to the popular Asakusa shopping for tourists. The staff is friendly and helpful. They helped us with our luggage so that we could freely go venture out.

I’ll never talk to the hotel again as approved they are cheaters!!  When I was in Japan I talked to them again and again but they replied that they had never ever charge by my card,  and now through my bank replied that they still insisted that I was stay there that’s why they charged by my credit card!!!  They also take pics of my bank message and notes down, but now they are pretended as know nothing to ask me what’s the amount by message. I will never talk to a cheater. I need hotels.com to talk with the cheater! above is the email I’ve sent to hotels.com. I faced an anonymous charges of my credit card. But the hotel refused to admit it. Until my bank did the international investigation. I didn’t enjoy the trip in Tokyo because of several communications with the hotel. I stayed 2 days of 29 Dec to 31 Dec 2018.
