Breakfast below average for a 4 star hotel. Visit instead bake and soda next door for breakfast. Comfortable beds. Large room. Quiet. Subway very close. Staff speaks very poorly English. And whenever we have written to them prior to arrival (in English) they always reply in German which we consider to be not so friendly.

Small rooms, great location

Even though this hotel is a bit outside of the downtown area it is fairly quiet from outside noise. It's about a 7-minute walk from an EDEKA and an ALDI and it's right off one of the subway stations (S4, I believe). The staff was also friendly and the rooms were clean. Since this place is a bit more isolated, no restaurants are nearby. Also, we were in Hamburg during the weekend, so it was a bit noisy in our room with people (and kids) stomping around on the floor above us. I think on any other weekday the hotel would've been quieter, but that would be the only thing I'd complain about. Still a solid choice for a hotel

Bring earplugs. There is an air condition unit in the flats. You can try to put it in sleep mode, but there is a constant rather annoying hum regardless. I suspect it's the air condition from the adjacent rooms. In either case, the staff said that it's normal, and we couldn't have muted it entirely by any means. Otherwise, the room was good. Bring earplugs.

Hotellet ligger langt væk fra alting. Det fremstår utroligt dårligt vedligeholdt selvom det er forholdsvist nyt. Der forventede vi ærligt talt noget andet/mere for en enkelt nat til 1.400 kroner. Aftenbuffeten var en decideret KATASTROFE! De varme retter var lunkne eller kolde, og service i forbindelse med bestilling af drikkevarer var ikke eksisterende. Desværre en rigtig dårlig oplevelse - så næste gang vi skal overnatte i Hamburg finder vi helt sikkert et andet hotel.
