Fab place to stay!!!
This was my second stay at the 1857. It’s charming industrial chic atmosphere is clean, Instagram worthy, and features artwork by local artists. The owner met me for my late arrival and recognized me from my last stay, which was last November. I was made to feel right at home and everything was ever so comfy. Super recommend!!!

Charming but noisy
Stylish renovation of an old building in the historic downtown. There’s lots to love, from nearby locally-owned restaurants and shops to the quilt museum, active-minute walk away. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, not much attention has been paid to soundproofing. I was there in a Thursday night. A group checked in for a weekend wedding. Lots of shrieking from the bar area and general hallway noise made it impossible to sleep until past 11:00 p.m. Bring earplugs.

would be a repeat guest without reservation!
The location and area were beautiful and made ti very easy to do what we wanted. The only imperfect event was the bumping into the bed frame with our lower legs', just be careful and stay clear of the sharp corners.

Pleased with Paducah
Paducah is a great little river town. Check out the flood wall mural. Great hotel smack dab in the fun historic area by the river.

Gem hotel in an historic river town
This small hotel (10 rooms?) is a piece of American history but remade as a very cool boutique hotel. Right in the middle of a walkable set of blocks with shopping, dining, cultural offerings and history. Padukah is a not to be missed gen!
