All we wanted was sleep!
Unfortunately it was incredibly noisy until 2-3am with night clubs in close proximity and no double glazing or sound proofing in our room which was overlooking Hong Kong St. The room was clean but ridiculously small with no space for two people to place bags without climbing all over them.

Room 214 = narrow walk in closet
Stayed in room 214 and it was small... Much smaller than the pictures made it out to be. I couldn't even open my luggage fully. It's about the size of a narrow walk in closet.

Good value hotel for solo travellers
Hotel is good value. Situated near Clarke Quay, it is within walking distance of many Singaporean tourist sites, including Chinatown and Boat Quay. A longer walk, but certainly walkable to Raffles Place and the Merlion Park. It is also just a 5-minute walk from the nearest MRT station (Clarke Quay). The hotel offers rooms without windows, which is what I stayed in. These are offered at a good price and if you are not claustrophobic (or planning to stay in your room for too long), these are great for solo travellers. The room is equipped with a bed, a sink, a fridge, a safe, and a good shower and toilet. There's not much floor space, but it's fairly good considering the price and the amenities that you get. The fridge is even stocked with 2 complimentary soft drinks and the standard two bottles of water. WiFi was also very good in the room I stayed in so definitely no complaints there. Service was fairly good - just note that the front desk isn't always staffed so if you need someone in those cases, just hop next door to the adjacent Hotel Clover property for assistance. Overall, a good value hotel for people travelling alone.
