Great for one night
We stayed one night at the Tamworth Lodge Hotel. There was a great new-looking air conditioner in the room and the beds were very comfortable. The room is small and the bathroom quite simple. Cleanliness was fair / good, just don't look in the corners. There was a toaster and jug, but no little plates for breakfast. There were glasses. The tv was good.

Cigarette smoke entering room from other people. Felt unsafe and dirty. Worst place have ever stayed in Australia and several countries overseas. Paid $400 for 2 nights but left after 1 night. Never again. We have never had to leave a review as bad as this and hope we never have to again.

The place was great value for money. Unfortunately, the behaviour of other guests was unacceptable, talking long and loudly in front of their room with no consideration for others as late as 3am. A noise time limit needs to be imposed and enforced.
