Stay here all the time close to brands hatch and other things to do in Kent. The staff are so nice and friendly. Easy to check in nothing is too much trouble. The rooms which open onto the lake are so nice. But have stayed in other rooms just a comfy. Can’t personally fault it there

The room was clean but a little dated (bathroom was tiles were something my nan had but it was okay) the feature wall is nice but the wood chip in the rooms give it a basic look. The building in reception and lobby is great. The bed was very comfortable but the pillow a little too soft for my liking.

Rooms ok, but bathroom & toilet disgusting, filthy floors, toilet stained. bath chipped, bath mat unusable, towels torn & need replacing. Lighting in whole of room very dim & poor. No air con. Unable to open windows due to traffic noise. Breakfast was good, variety average, plenty of parking.

The room was fairly clean, nothing special and dated,the carpet could do with a shampoo, bathroom old and tiered. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was very good and value for money, lots of dogs as dog friendly. Outside back garden was nice with the lovely lake ,plenty of outside seating.the A2 is right beside the hotel, noisy, but the double glazing is good and couldn't hear it when the window was closed.

I stayed at Inn on the Lake and had a really good experience. The hotel is in a beautiful location next to the lake, which makes it very peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. I really enjoyed the calm atmosphere and would definitely recommend it to other travellers looking for a quiet place to stay.

Excellent dog friendly hotel. The hotel is next to a busy road so highly recommend booking a lakeside room which are much quieter, large and have a good view. Whilst the hotel is quite tired, for the price we paid and service we received, it represents good value. Meals in the bar well priced too.

The reception, bar and general areas of the hotel were clean and tidy in appearance. The room was VERY dated and could definitely do with updating. The room had a very musty damp smell when we walked in. ALL of the surfaces in the room were sticky to the touch, I moved a bedside cabinet to reach a plug socket and it looked like it had not been cleaned in a while - dust and dirt on the floor. The duvet cover was torn. For the money we paid I would have expected better. I must say though that all of the staff were very polite and professional and the breakfast was ok.
