No unpleasant surprises
This is the first visit, but will not be the last. I hope to update the review in the future. I can honestly say I had no unpleasant surprises. I wish there was room service available. However, there was something pleasantly rewarding about walking to the restaurant.

This I a nice conference hotel but not really suitable if you arrive after a long day driving. We expected to be staying in the castle but instead we’re in a ultra modern block with ineffective air con.

Beautiful location
Beautiful location - worth the long travel from Ireland. Excellent conference facilities and an amazing Spa pool and relaxation facilities. Friendly efficient staff and good value for money, Choice of buffet style food suited all preferences - however no small alternatives if requiring just a sandwich as it is fixed price - which of course gives great value for meals. Can highly recommend.

Comfortable and Quiet
Extremely comfortable room. The local area is very quiet but that is what we wanted for our last night of our trip. There are several restaurants within a few minutes walk. The breakfast was excellent. We only stayed one night so did not get a chance to try the spa facilities unfortunately.

This is not an hotel.
Very institutional feeling about the place. Long walk to breakfast from my room. Bar and dining area felt like a canteen rather than a 4 star hotel. Arrived late and had to phone the hotel to find reception. Would not recommend it.
