The property is positioned on the edge of Positano in an elevated position, affording it some spectacular views from the many beautiful garden terraces, and ensuring a more peaceful stay than you would get were you to remain right in the centre of the town.
If you want to relax on the beach, it’s a short wander into town to access the main beach; or, do what we did and descend the steps right from the property down to a much quieter, arguably prettier beach. At times we were the only people there and essentially had a private beach to ourselves.
For those who enjoy a good walk, the property is ideally located for the Path of the Gods. It even has its own private entrance to the start of the path! We did the whole route and got the bus back from Bomerano. Well worth it for the views.
The rooms in the property are a very good size, and are well cleaned and tidied every day. The breakfast that’s put on every morning is delicious.
The couple who run the place treated us with refreshments when we arrived which was a nice touch, and continued to ensure that we had the best possible holiday. They went out of their way on several occasions to make our week as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
It’s worth noting that to access the property requires climbing 150 steps through the garden from the main road, not to mention the numerous steps in and around Positano, which may make this an unrealistic proposition for the obese or disabled.
