Poor
The worst hotel I've ever stayed in
Just avoid it. The only good point is that the hotel is very well located. Other than that it's a nightmare: There is a Peep Sex Show right besides the Hotel, They never clean the room (not when I first arrived, not during my stay). There was a discarded mattress just thrown in the room. When I first arrived they charged me a "special tax". When I questioned about this "tax" they just couldn't explain. I had to pay it because I had no other place to stay and had already payed for my stay. There is no reception: they make you do the check in at a bar. When I arrived there were a bunch of drunks right there while I made the check in. The whole building is very old and honestly probably very dangerous. The wooden floors are rotten with humidity, no ventilation, the shower was in pretty bad shape. I could keep going on and on, but I guess you get the picture. OH, AND "HI-SPEED INTERNET" IS JUST A FLAT OUT LIE. I could barely read my e-mail. Honestly this made me even consider if using expedia is a good option.

Remove from Hotels.com list!
It was nothing what I booked online!!! There was minimum heat, the toilet was when you came in the door, shower facilities were broke, the bath was basically out in the open room, there was a brothel next door, had to check in at a bar the only good thing about hotel Du Globe was checking out! I don't see how this is on hotel.coms list. Not to mention ladies of the evening tried to pick me up and take more to the strip club they worked at both nights. I would have liked to have seen the room I would have got before I upgraded to a 2 double bed room. Oh yeah the other bed was a fold up cot in the corner. Did I mention the bed had no sheets on it just 2 comforters. One to lay on and one to cover with. If I thought it was Possible I would ask for a refund. Would not recommend it to no one. Spend extra to get a real hotel.

Fair
Cheap but gross place to stay in a good area
Dirty room. Signs in bathroom forbidding us to flush toilet paper, and instead put it all in a trash can - gross! I could hear EVERYTHING including a person snoring in a nearby room and people opening doors downstairs. It was a place to sleep for one night at a cheap price and get out the next day, which is what I needed. I didn't use the smelly, dirty, group bathroom and felt I'd be cleaner if I just waited and showered when I checked into my real hotel later that day.

My wall was Orange! , it was on the third floor and there’s no elevator with heavy luggage. The reception guy is in the little cafe next to it and the cleaning lady who we met on the stair way as we were going to check out wanted our key. She was arguing with us to take our key, mind you this is the only way to check out. As long as you give the key back to the reception that’s how you check out. No receipt, no actual reception desk but behind the bar at the cafe.

Good
Centralized but a bit uncomfortable
The staff is super nice, helpful. They try hard to run a respectable hotel. There’s a nice little area where you can eat and a place to do laundry. The hotel is in a pretty centralized which at that price is rare for Paris. BUT it’s only fair to mention that the actual hotel is in a more ADULT street of town. So it’s not at all family friendly. The bed was a bit too uncomfortable for me so I actually didn’t stay the night. Some of the other rooms might be better though, I got a single room.
