It is a good hotel however, the sink was clogged and the toilet also had to call the technician. And from 6 days until 4 they put shower soap. The person in the morning and in the evening are excellent, they attend well and there is only one boy at night who speaks Spanish however they try hard to understand and help you. The area is heavy because it is an area of people of color and they already follow or ask the tenants that you do there, beware! The hotel itself is very good, super recommended.

Comfy room, very small
Hotel - Pros - good location as in central Paris (zone 1-2 so metro tickets are cheap) and also just yards away from a metro station. Staff are very friendly and informative. Room was also very clean and well presented, as was hotel. Altogether good value for money. WiFi free and extremely good. Cons - sirens are somewhat ongoing and sometimes make it difficult to sleep. Area doesn’t feel like the safest although the hotel itself does feel extremely safe, we were very wary of going out at night time as strange people would come up to us and say odd things. Room is extremely small with very little wardrobe space, we had to store most of our clothes in the cupboards. The shower screen in our room was broken and leaked out water (if management read this room 631). Did lack security especially with the area it is located in. Lift in our part of the hotel was extremely small and could only fit 2 people in at a time. Altogether we had a nice stay at this hotel however next time mainly due to location we would go somewhere else.

Location = Great Staff = Good Cleanliness = OK Facility = Poor Though I understand it's Paris and the hotel is three stars, air conditioner in my colleague's room didn't work, no tissue in the room and no refrigerator was equipped. I accept the small shower booth which was better than my previous Paris stay. (It had a refrigerator by the way.) I'm a business traveler and don't stay fancy hotel so am not expecting much but a room without refrigerator gives me hard time since it doesn't allow me cold beer.

Fair 4.0
This was the last hotel of my 12 days Europe trip and was dissatisfied completely. Only good thing was the area, which was the center of Paris. The hotel room was very old and unkept. There was a make shift elevator in the hotel which only hold one person at a time. Me being a big person could not fit in with my luggage. Had to send my luggage with my wife. Hardly any space to move in the room near the bed. Worst part is the city tax. Although i was informed before, but i stayed in 3 other IBIS hotels in my vacation trip before this hotel including a Ibis in Paris and none collected the city tax, but this hotel did. Looking at the dirtiness of the nearby area and the hotel, i hated to pay the tourist tax. Absolutely poor stay

Very good 8.0
Great central budget hotel
We were greeted by a lovely, helpful member of staff who was very informative and welcoming. The receptionist on our checkout, was not as "enthusiastic" shall I say, which is a shame. The room was a good size and clean, it did smell a bit off on the first nigh, like feet. The smell went away by the next day so my guess is something was spilled in the room and maybe not cleaned up? anyway, this didn't ruin our 3 night stay, the hotel is within walking distance to gare l'est and 10 mins walk to gare du nord. Night shutters blacked out the room and cancelled much of the street noise. There is a lift in this hotel for anyone wih heavy luggage and they offer to store your luggage on your checkout which we used. Overall, very happy!
