10/10 Exceptional
10 out of 10 ExceptionalWonderful old colonial French house with quirky elevator and amazing wall hanging textiles in the rooms. Very interesting photos on the walls throughout. Super friendly and helpful staff. Easy tuc/tuc to the market for a lively and entertaining ride from the wet market to Champasak.
8/10 Very good
8 out of 10 Very goodPakse feels like a remote outpost where Residence Sisouk is a haven. Great food at the café, veeeeery good coffee, and honest breakfast at the rooftop restaurant. Folks, this place is well managed unlike most venues in this part of the world. Good service is an unknown commodity here unless you stop at this simple and honest as it comes place. I recommand.
8/10 Very good
8 out of 10 Very goodThe staff were excellent. The property was poorly maintained and in need of total refurbishment. Ripped cushions and mattress, broken blinds, broken pop up sink plug. Spare pillows were stained and had no pillowcases. There was no staff in the bar/ restaurant on an evening.
