Avoid it
I am very very disappointed with the Expedia/Hotel arrangements. One of the biggest conditions to book this hotel was that they suppose to have AC on the rooms. When we arrived, there was no AC in rooms and hallways. We report it to the front desk and they told us they have to call the AC technician. Nothing happening during the night, and when we followed up the next day when we got back from the city, the frond desk told us that they never had or offered anything related to AC. Unfortunately, the details of the room said they do have AC. If you plan to sleep with the window opened and have plain view of other rooms since every one have their window wide open. And additionally, you will hear every single word from the rooms or the shared backyard the building has, THIS IS YOUR PLACE, if not, run away and don't overpay due false advertising and don't believe in them.

Budget hotel as advertised. Rooms are surprisingly reasonably sized, shower opens directly into room so if you're not a couple, or even if you are, you might want to consider this. Toilet door is more like a public toilet cubicle door with gap at top and bottom, and does not lock (seems intentional, no signs of a missing lock). Night staff at reception were very nice; staff next morning less so, complaining about keeping our luggage for the day, which is a service provided! Rooms can get noisy, insulation is not great and you are on a busy Paris road, recommend earplugs. Bed and pillows are comfy, which is the main plus of this place, and if you're just staying there for the night and literally just sleeping, this is the place for you. If you crane your neck out the window to the right, you can also see the Eiffel Tower at a distance!

Exceptional 10.0
Brilliant budget hotel!!!
So I booked this hotel for me, my sister and my 12 yr old son for a 3 night 4 day break in Paris. It cost me just £120 for all 3 of us for the duration! Was a little worried because it was so cheap but it was absolutely perfect!! Can't praise it enough. It was far enough out of the main part of the city to be nice and quiet but still within easy distance of all the tourist sites. Two supermarkets right next door too and restaurants within easy walking distance. If I had any complaint at all it would be that the maid service went in our room even when we asked them not to! And every day she stripped the overhead bunk bed my son was sleeping in and it was so hard to remake as it was high and difficult to reach. So if that's all I could find to moan about, I'm very happy!! It's a no frills, cheap place to stay but still maintains a good level of comfort.

Great location, nice people, no AC....
This is certainly a budget hotel. The room reminded me of a cruise ship room. The shower was nice though. The people working here were all very nice and friendly. The local area did have some homeless people, but overall I really enjoyed the location- right next to a supermarket and lots of restaurants on the street. Juares metro was nearby which made traveling throughout Paris very easy. My only complaint was the AC. My booking stated that there is AC and the room had an AC vent and wall type unit. There was no control for it and the front desk Clerk told me it was centrally controlled. Needless to say it was extremely hot in Paris and to not have AC in your room or in the hotel at all made it VERY uncomfortable. I didn't sleep much as I was sweating and tossing and turning.

Fair 4.0
The room was comfortable, but there were a number of problems with it. First, the toilet has an automatic light that comes on when you open the door. Unfortunately, the door doesn't cover the entire doorway, and the light stays on for several minutes after you leave the bathroom. So, when you go in the night, your room is flooded with light for a while before it shuts off. Second, the shower door didn't close all the way, and water got all over the room floor. The room only comes with two small pillows, but we wanted two more. However, the staff said you could only request that in the morning. So, when you checkin in the afternoon, you're SOL if you want extra pillows. Lastly, the staff weren't very friendly.
