Living Mad Hostel, Madrid, Spain
Good for very young, not older, people
Located centrally although the directions on how to get there were confusing. Bathroom doir didn't work well and took much effort to open. Breakfast was OK, but not great. Lots of very young people so nouse level very high, especially since allowing people access at all hours. Definitly a place for the very young, parting, crowd, not so for older people!

fun and amazing hostel
it was amazing the diversity of people you can find and be friend with, also the free drinks and the bars that can be visited at the expense of the hostel

Good for backpackers who like to party
Pros: Good common areas so you can meet people. Coin-laundry machines allow you to clean your laundry. Nice, polite reception staff. Lockers are big and free, and they open electronically with your room key. Cons: Hidden costs. Renting a towel costs 3 euro (plus a 2 euro deposit that you'll get back when you return the towel). Storing your luggage after your stay will cost 2 euro, even if you only leave it there for an hour. Be aware: Partying isn't really happening inside this hostel, but the hostel aims for and attracts the party-type backpacker with pub crawls, etc. So if you plan to go to bed early and don't want to be disturbed by loud drunks talking in the street in front of the hostel, maybe you should pick another place.
