The staff at Hotel Europäischer were polite and extremely helpful from check in to check out. The hotel location is very handy, being directly across the road from Munich Central Train Station. It is an easy walk to the Marienplatz, nearby shopping streets and public transport options. The buffet breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of foods, including baked goods, delicious fresh fruit and chocolate custard (who knew it would be such a great breakfast food option). The room was comfortable and clean and easily accommodated our party of 3 adults. On a negative note, the rooms can get a little hot as there is no air conditioning available (the hotel does provide fans, but as you cannot leave them running when not in the room, it can take a while for the room to cool down upon re-entry). As with all European accommodation, the pillows are very uncomfortable, I advise taking your own if possible to ensure the best nights sleep. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate booking at this hotel again.

Good location.Internet did not work.Basic internet was non existent . We had to pay at the end as we were told we logged in as premium internet service. This was not clear when we logged in. Anyway even premium service in spite of paying never worked. Breakfast was good but there was no variety, same dishes everyday got bit boring

The hotel was undergoing renovations on our level and looked quite dated and the corridor smelt old and musty. The room was quite large. Shower was in the bath like a lot of European hotels. No air con, which they did advertise, but it was very hot in the room and it was only 25/27 degrees outside. My advice to anyone booking in Munich is book early, it is expensive because there isn’t a who lot of inventory.

Upon check-in the customer service was excellent but at check-out it was a different person and a different story. He was quite rude and unhelpful in fact. Also, when we checked-out we were told that breakfast was included for the FIRST NIGHT ONLY. We were not aware of this as we were told at the time of check-in that breakfast was included. To mislead your guests into thinking their breakfast is included for their entire stay yet only provide it for the first night seems like a very unethical practise.

The location, 100 metres from the Main Station is very convenient. The room was clean with a little mould in the shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room has a refrigerator and safe. Despite its position, it is relatively quiet. Only the sirens penetrated. I found the bed very hard. I suffered some aches from it. The breakfast is excellent. The food is good and the choice wide. The wait staff are attentive. The corridor door was fixed open and intruded about 30% into the doorway of my room. Odd design! Recommended

We needed to be near the train station and for this purpose it was great. Just had to cross the road and we were at the hotel. Ate at 2 restaurants in the same block as the hotel and they were both great. Both had vegan options - thanks for this.

I am usually booking at this hotel on my way back home and has been always great. The good food and the proximity to the train station is making it an ideal choice.
