A lovely hotel situated in the middle of a rural area so driving is a must. Indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and treatment rooms available. Food was good but repetitive so most days we had breakfast then spent of the day out and had dinner before going back to the hotel.

This is a lovely hotel with a beautiful view and pool. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is a little isolated and you do have to drive to get to restaurants, beaches, town, but not very far. There is a restaurant and a bar and you get a fridge in your room.

Amazing oasis

A little off the beaten path but an amazing find. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The dinner was absolutely fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed finding this quiet private spot to relax by the pool and refresh.

Very quiet and peaceful area. Amazing views on the nature from our bedroom. Nice hotel and room. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast (good choice). Nice swimming-pool. Friendly staff. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the bedroom for tea and coffee. Also the -2 floor (under the swimming-pool) was leaking and the ceiling there needed to be fixed and needed a little paint.

Stunning views, friendly and helpful staff, good locational. However even after booking the Spa there was no staff there to facilitate and we were not able to use this. The room shower leaked. Not often staff at reception to help. Dinner was not good and very overpriced for what it was. The hotel is in need of upkeep.

From the moment you drive up the long driveway to Enigma, your first thoughts are that it’s a stunning hotel, an architect’s delight, with amazing views over the countryside. However there were some flaws of the hotel we noticed soon after entering the lobby. The hotel has so much potential to be more and do better than it was. Let me explain: No one was on the front desk at check in time and we were waiting for 10 minutes or so for someone to come greet us. The gentleman who did greet us was friendly and welcoming, however we found the whole service quite slow. There’s potential here to improve. The bedroom itself was large, with a good sized King Bed and a balcony with a view over the countryside. Some furnishings were a little dated and rusty however. There is potential to improve here. We visited the outdoor pool for the afternoon and this was nice, however the jacuzzi was closed and the pool itself seemed like it needed some better upkeep eg the pool ladder wasn’t properly secured and seemed broken. There’s potential to improve it here. We had a complimentary spa pass (via Expedia VIP Rewards), but this wasn’t offered to us at check in, so we didn’t see the spa. Breakfast the next morning was underwhelming to say the least. There was fruit, cereals, a few bits of charcuterie and cooked food to choose from, but the food itself lacked flavour. Also the coffee was undrinkable. All in all, this hotel has plenty of potential to be something greater than it is already.

Breakfast was very good. Pool was ok- water quite warm and nice. Unfortunately, the room wasn't soundproof as advertised. Also, as advertised there was supposed to be a spa service included and a free drink. Spa service turned out to be just access to pool/sauna/Turkish bath; while free drink for two was a standard bottle of water in the room... quite misleading.. Overall, was a nice stay but nothing special for this price

Pontos positivos - Staff muito simpático e prestável - Vista bonita - O entrecote do jantar estava bkm Pontos negativos - Portas que não fecham normalmente, algumas só fecham com trinco/chave -Autoclismo com problemas em que a água não para de correr, causando desperdício e muito barulho - Piscina suja (areia no fundo, verde de musgo e cheia de lixo à superfície (podiam limpar pelo menos todas as manhãs a superfície com uma camaroeiro, isto é básico) - Problemas com ar condicionado (testei 3 quartos diferentes e o AC tem muito pouca potência, por vezes nem funciona, daí ter experimentado os 3 quartos. Percebi que haviam mais hóspedes com este problema - Pequeno almoço muito limitado, com pouca opção de escolha e com demora na reposição. Pessoas constantemente à espera do ovo (que era das poucas coisas saudáveis para se comer) - Alguns quartos com telefone, outros não (vá se lá entender…) Resumo, fiquei 2 noites, a primeira péssima porque acordei sem o ar condicionado e com a sol a aquecer o quarto. Se não tivesse sido o staff a ser prestável e a tentar arranjar alternativas e tinha ficado apenas a primeira noite. Ao dono, que não pense apenas no lucro, invista na manutenção do hotel que de 4 estrelas tem muito pouco. Experiência a não repetir

Toutefois, le plaisir du séjour est en partie atténué par quelques faiblesses au niveau de l'entretien (ex.: problème de climatisation, lampe non fonctionnel, robinetterie qui mériterait d'être resserrée, présence d'algues dans la piscine, etc.). L'établissement possède un cachet indéniable, mais un suivi plus rigoureux de la maintenance lui permettrait de retrouver tout son standing.
