Good sized apartments at the west end of the city
The Melbourne SkyHigh apartments are located on Collins Street at the Western end of the city. The apartments are a reasonable size and have full cooking facilities, a large fridge, and a couch and a small poor quality LCD TV. The bathrooms are a reasonable size and in the main bathroom there is a washer and dryer but the water pressure is very poor. The views from apartments facing north are with a limited view and not much to see but if you can get apartments have a westerner Southern view you can get some really great views across Melbourne. The apartments are located at the top end of Collins Street with the tram running past the front door and Southern Cross station is only a couple of hundred m away. The foyer and the lifts are in very poor condition broken tiles and dirty floors and during urgent need of serious maintenance. The location is good the apartments are in original condition it's not bad for a few days stay

Nice enough
Great location and easy check in. The lifts were a pain, be prepared for them to take a long time or be out of order intermittently.

A waiting disaster
I know that this review will not change anything, and thats why i had put off writing one. The place is something like a ghetto , as its apartments, you have people with dogs and push bikes pushing into the lifts. Only one life out of three was working, very angry overseas visitors, 30 people at a time waiting for ONE lift, and a resident told me it had been like that for a week. The receptionist couldn't care less, THEIR WORKING ON IT. is all she said The lift was dirty, and obviously used for taking furniture in it, the carpets were stained and dirty, the doona in our room was stained in three places. How could this property get occupancy approval from Melbourne council, I was nervous and was glad to leave. This is not a place I would recommend or return too, complaining will go nowhere, although I have thought of reporting this building to Melbourne council.
