"Budget Hotel" is a euphemism- St Christopher's is a mega-hostel, which is fine if that's what you knowingly booked but it's not what we expected. Check-in took awhile as there were several guests waiting in line. Our room was as expected according to the photos and had some convenient details such as extra plugs and usb charging ports. The bathroom was literally the size of an airplane bathroom or a cruise ship bathroom. The hallway to get to our private room had that distinct bathroom sewer smell which I've grown to associate with European hostels. The included breakfast was well stocked with expanded variety compared to most other hostels I've been in. Price was, I think, pricy for a hostel experience, though.

Overall ok but possible disturbing nightclub
This is a hostel and even if you book it as a cheap hotel accommodation you will not get that. Especially if you get one of the rooms on the inside facing the inside backyard. The reason is that the nightclub in the backyard inside will play music all night long and the music will leave you no rest. On the other side if this is what your mode is like and you prefer having the last beer of the evening in the same location as where you live this might turn out to be a positive thing. But you can’t avoid hearing the music bouncing into your room unless you have heavy EarPods with noice canceling function which my lucky partner of course had. Cleaning was supposed to be every second day but we stayed three nights and never got our room fixed. Did not bother us but anyway not what we expected since it said cleaning every second day and nothing else. The hostel crew were excellent. Helpful with our questions and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was just what you need as a backpacker but not more than juice, sandwich and coffee. Overall stay here if you are in party mode. If you need a good nights rest take any of the other hotels near Gare Nord.

Very good 8.0
Nice for the budget but earplugs needed.
This hotel has a bar/nightclub and is on a busy corner in Paris central. If that is not your thing and you look to hofels as a place to rest in quiet, this spot is not for you. Was it cheap? Yes. Was it clean? Yes. Was the front desk courteous? Yes. They even give your earplugs at check-in. Would I stay here again? Maybe.

This is a convenient, no frills location to lay your head down for a night or two. Very conveniently located near Gare du Nord train station--easy to get around the city or get a RER-B train ride to the airport for less than 11 euro. Like I said, really no frills but it was clean and had 24/7 front desk service for checking in late--which we did--and the staff spoke perfect English and were incredibly helpful. One word of warning for light sleepers--this is basically a hostel/backpacker setup. As such, there is a big backpacker bar/club basically attached to the hostel/hotel and our private room had a window that looked out over it. We could hear the music and party commotion pretty clearly from our room with the window open. Now, I am not a light sleeper and was tired enough after traveling that it was not an issue--the hotel also provides earplugs so they themselves are already aware--but wanted to make mention of this fact since sleep is very important when traveling. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend to others who are looking for the basics to be covered--this place does it well with a kind a courteous staff. Convenient, clean, courteous staff for a cheap price--pretty good deal.

love Paris in the summer but not at St Christopher
Party bar Belushi’s downstairs was so noisy that we could hear the noise upstairs in our rooms late into the night. We stayed in single rooms with ensuite bathroom where everything was so small, you barely had enough space to walk between the wall and the bed. It was so hot in July 2019 that the small electric fan provided little comfort.
