We stayed at the William Vale for one night in April 2018 and walked away wishing we had stayed there for longer. The room was beautiful and spacious (for New York), and the views of the Manhattan skyline were spectacular. We even had a chance to use the heated pool and relax in the sun on the level 4 rooftop garden. The location is also great - an easy walk to great restaurants, shops, bars, the subway and a number of pretty parks. All the staff were friendly and attentive - particularly Peter who gave us some great restaurant recommendations and arranged our ride to the airport. We will definitely be back.

Overall it was ok
Over all it was ok , my husband and I thought it was a bit over priced and no free parking . Luckily it was a Saturday and we found parking pretty quickly . Room was well cleaned & Bed was comfortable but room was very cold not sure if thermostat was working or not . We did let them know at front desk room was super cold not sure if maintenance came up or not because we left for dinner & room didn’t warm up till the middle of the night . Over all we made the best of it and had a nice stay .

My experience during my stay was very disappointing. Upon entry into the hotel the staff made you feel like your questions were a bother. My first room was filthy and dusty with vomit residue on toilet seat and bathroom floor. I took a picture of the issue and presented it to front the desk who proceed to change my room but offered no reply instead said I am not sure if we have another room let me check. I was moved from the 15th to 18th floor which was also dusty but without vomit. This shocked me because of all the covid requirements on cleanliness and status of the hotel. Ordered room service at 820am arrived @ 1140am, called 3times to inquire, despite length of time order was incorrect and cold. Calling front desk or valet, you had to listen to infomercial for 90seconds in hope that someone would answer during the call if not it would start all over again - had to try about 3 times on average to get someone and sometimes it would say the voicemail is full and automatically hang up.
