Hotel Wroxham
Overall a fabulous stay. The hotel is in a wonderful location waterside on the broads. The room was a river view with a balcony, the room itself is marginally on the small side, however with the weather being grand it was possible to keep the balcony door open giving the feeling of space. One minor discomfort is the fact that although only one storey high, the access is only by stairs, making it a little difficult for people with even the most minor mobility issues. The lobby itself is very dark, although candlelit it gives the feeling of slight claustrophobia. The breakfast was inclusive of the price, on offer was a cooked breakfast, along with a buffet. With wonderful river views from the restaurant, it was lovely to sit and take in the ever moving picture whilst eating a hearty breakfast. We did have an evening meal in the restaurant which was of great quality and taste, although the service was extremely slow. Overall I thoroughly recommend a stay at Hotel Wroxham, give it a try I am sure you will enjoy it.

2/10 Poor

Terminally ill and thrown out for being stereotype
My husband and I I went to this hotel for a 4 night relaxing break because I am terminally ill and needed a little getaway. We were immediately judged by our appearance which let's face it isn't great when you are dying and your husband is the only person looking after you. It was horrific. From the minute we checked in the staff tried every which way to get rid of us. We were belittled we were humiliated we felt intimidated and we were then threatened. If we did not leave, they were actually going to make things difficult for us and this was stated verbally to us by a member of the hotel staff. When we showed them my medical record to explain I was terminally ill and their actions were exasperating my condition they laughed! After we were thrown out because they claimed we were smoking in the room (we do not smoke have never smoked and nobody who is in the process of dying can smoke) the hotel proceeded to attempt to charge our card numerous times up to the total of £2,200! We had paid our bill we had paid their charge for smoking in the room even though we had not and after we left £2200 was attempted to be debited from our account. The day after we arrived home I suffered a stroke and then had full-blown respiratory failure and my husband had to resuscitate me. Do not go to this hotel.
