Clean and cozy
Wonderful experience here, the staff were very polite, the room was clean and modern. Beds were comfortable and a good size considering that it's Tokyo. Main complaints are the train sounds (quite loud with the balcony door open, but with the door closed, it's just a loud muffled rumble) and weak fan in the bathroom (bathroom steams up easily and takes a little while to clear up), but these were just minor issues for us. Great experience overall! Right across the street from JR Ryogoku station, making it an ideal location for JR pass users; subway Ryogoku station is ~10 min walk away. A good number of restaurants along the same street and a couple of convenience stores nearby.

Great value, great experience. I will be back!!!!
Marvellous experience. 20 seconds walk to Ryogoku station (2 stops from Akiharabara, direct train). I was on the 10th floor and didn't hear any train noises. Lobby was manned 24h with professional and friendly English speaking staff. Rooms were well-heated with adjustable air-con. Bathroom equipped with hair dryer and huge bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap. Toiletries such such toothbrush, razor, shaving cream, facial cotton and buds, slippers and bathrobe supplied. There was even a big bottle of fabric deodorant spray which was a life-saver. Comes with kettle, electronic safe, bar fridge, TV, phone. Mostly Japanese visitors staying at hotel at time of writing this review (Japan just recently opened to tourists), and if there is a reliable gauge, do what the locals do. Good rule of thumb in Japan. Amazing value, I will definitely stay at this hotel again for my next trip to Tokyo.

8/10 Very good

The location was very convenient, right outside from the subway and lots of restaurants to choose from. Despite the location was right next to the subway and the trains can be heard when it passed by the hotel, however, at night it was fairly quiet when the trains stopped running. Our room was also right in front of the elevators and the room was sound proof enough that we couldn't hear the elevator doors opening and closing.
