The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. The rooms are right on the beach, and every room has a patio with an ocean view. The food at the restaurant was delicious but a little pricey. The maid service was very good. The turtle experience was beautiful.
I did, however, think that we paid a bit too much considering the lack of amenities. The lack of hot water/water pressure and air conditioning were probably the most inconvenient parts of it all, as they definitely affected our quality of sleep and shower after long days in the sun. Pretty sure the place hasn't been updated since it was created.
Good to stay for a couple of nights, but maybe a week was too much time with such limited comfort. If you're the type of person who likes to check out of reality when they travel, this place doesn't have WiFi or TV. I thought it made our experience more enjoyable for the sake of being in the moment.
Don't rely on taxis or buses when you travel here (or surrounding areas). Taxis are expensive, and bus stations are too far from the coastline to conveniently get to without a car.
