The Farmstead Inn is an outstanding place to stay while in Shipshewana. The property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. The staff was wonderful. The only downside (if there is one) would be the breakfast and coffee. We thought the quality of breakfast options as well as the coffee weren't very good. Admittedly this is subjective, but we were disappointed. That said, we will definitely stay at the Farmstead Inn when traveling to Shipshewana in the future.

The room & hotel itself, was very nice. I appreciated seeing the handmade quilts displayed on the walls throughout. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. They are in the process of building a new pool area. The current hot tub is closed down & the pool was usable, but dirty & needs maintenance. This is a big Amish community, so pretty much everything was closed on Sunday.
