I don’t usually leave reviews, but this hotel was one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. The man who checked us in was so lovely, professional and very helpful. The room was incredible and clean, the little fridge with water and snacks was the most loveliest touch. I would come back here every time when visiting Edinburgh

Clean and hospitable
Located near the centre of Leith, lots of shops and eateries nearby, very easy to get into or around Edinburgh city centre with many bus routes stopping a few minutes walk away. Friendly and helpful staff, the room was well equipped and provisioned with strong WiFi, smart TV, bottled water and snacks. Good value, considering parking included, would happily return.

Friendly from the start. Craig was an attentive host giving suggests how to get into the city and good local restaurants. He was very friendly and welcoming. Despite the rooms being what some might call dated I found to be very warm and homely. A stocked fridge of Irn-Bru and water makes a nice welcome too. The location is just outside of the main city but an easy walk to get to with everything you would need in the area.

I arrived late evening due to transportation issues, and the staff was very accommodating. I needed to acquire a UK SIM card that night and was given great directions within 10 minute walking distance. Extensive road works prevented drop off at door and parking, but I was made aware of this in advance to ensure I would be OK with this. This was a non-issue for me as I was picking up my hire-car within a 20 minute walk of the B&B next day. An excellent first night in Scotland after flying in from the US. Would definitely book again.
