If you are looking for a place to sleep ONLY then this is the property for you. I wish I could give this property a negative rating. 1.The property is extremely dated, the carpet, furniture bed very very old. 2. Owners are rude. Almost all places in NZ, allow 1 hr complimentary check out ( so if check out is at 10AM you you can leave at 11AM). Owner shows up at door step at 10:35 and asks us to leave in 5 min or pay a substantial amount until 11AM. 3. There is no shower stall only a curtain. So essentially if you are taking a shower, the entire bathroom is wet making it impossible for any body else to use the bathroom. 4. Utensils are dirty so you have to wash all utensils before using AND wash them before leaving (else you will be charged). 5. All NZ hotels provide milk in a sealed packaged container, not this one. Here there is a reusable container with milk, god knows if it is expired. Very bad experience over all and the only reason this place is in business is because there are very few motels in the area. Book in advance and DON'T stay here.

It’s old building but the tidiness and cleanliness exceeded my expectation by far. Was such well maintained and cared, didnt had the dusty smell I usually experience from the older property. Bedding and towels was also clean and comfortable.

Quite a run down property and not well maintained. BBQ facility is dirty, and no gas. Playground is not maintained for kids. Curtains in the room smells. Not very happy. And not recommended.
