A great spot for four day stay in Tahoe Mountains
Room was priced right consider that it was discounted by approximately %30.Consider Covid 19 effect...there was no cable tv there was antenna with 14 channels but no guide. X Spa and bar closed. Restaurant offered delivery only and closed Mondays.Staff wore face 😷 however clients (majority) were not oberving use of masks in common areas nor was any kind of Social distancing observed or enforced. Frequently heard staff say they cant enforce rules. Should adopt friendly reminders as a minimum.Parking was by Valet only and inconvenient most of the time although free.(excluded tips) A no housekeeping rule in effect was a little inconvenient. Accumulated dirty linen and garbage. Not too bad but if you consider the expense we went to get away from doing the daily tasks it was a bit of downer.Pool was unheated and jammed with children with no distancing observed.Went into athe very nice Hotel fitness center where 6 young male shirtless, maskless, were exercising regardless of posted 4 max signs.Good location and all staff exceptionally friendly.

Older Resort but nicely appointed
Older facility that's being renovated section by section. Floors 2-4 were being remodeled during our stay. Lobby has been nicely updated. We stayed on the 7th floor in a standard studio and the room was nicely laid out with a sofa bed in the living area and a flat screen TV. Then there's a small kitchenette with a tiny sink, a microwave and dorm room fridge but no stove. Still nice for dining in, and there's a dining table that seats 4. Finally towards the window that faces the front of the resort and looks down to the pool was the full bed that they call a queen but it was definitely not a real queen, but it was big enough and the pillows were nice and soft. Overall, we had a nice stay. We swam several times in the temp controlled pool, spa was closed due to covid, but there were enough other facilities opened so we had a good time there.

Horrible Rooms
The hotel staff was pleasant but the room was horrible with dirty sheets and blankets and blankets The hotel is going under renovation but still, my family will not stay there again

A comfy place to stay.
The hotel is a little dated, but nice. It's small enough so everything is close by. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are in the process of renovating and taking out the large in-room jacuzzi spas (necessary for water conservation), so there was a little construction noise. A big plus is the free valet parking. The valet guys were great. It's in a quiet neighborhood very close to Heavenly Valley.

Walk to heavenly
If you’re looking for a place close to heavenly California lodge this is the place. A quick 2 minute walk puts you at the tram. Super convenient and don’t need to worry about parking. Overall the hotel is nice, the staff did inform me they are renovating all the rooms and updating them. The rooms currently are dated with an old jacuzzi tub inside (that doesn’t work) but also a sign informing you they are disconnected. The staff was all very nice. I don’t recommend eating breakfast at the hotel, 9 bucks for a bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich that wasn’t very good at all. Would be nice if they renovated the bar area as well. Plenty of restaurants within a few minute drive. Definitely will stay here again despite the few minor flaws. Overall very happy with stay. Thanks everybody for making it a good trip to the resort!
