We stayed here for 6 nights. When I walked into the lobby I was already skeptical but I wanted go ahead and give it a chance since the kid at the front desk was polite. The resort fee is just another excuse to take your money, this hotel in no way is a resort; it is a motel they attempted to renovate but failed. They took random parts and slapped it together to call it a resort is pure misrepresentation. At first look, the room was clean, once we were settling in we noticed that the floors were not clean at all and it looked like someone else stayed here without them cleaning it a couple of times . The shower had someone else’s long black hairs on it. They literally spilled the cleaning supplies on the floor for it to leave a stain. On the second night there was a strange smell in the room and we could not figure out what it was; it only proceeded to get worst. Also on the second day there was NO WATER from 8am to 8pm. This place just kept getting worse and worse. The next night our key cards just all of a sudden stopped working and we were unable to get into the room. Also the smell getting more potent. I could see mold on the edges of the room. The restroom smelt like a hotbox when we turned the fan on. On the second to last day the maids thought it would be a good idea to not make the beds but to take all of the sheets off and put them behind the pillows. I don’t know why. It was 11pm when we came back so the staff changed our room. So after moving all of our stuff ou

    Worst check-in!
I arrived at night, and I was third in the queue for check-in. I think there was a problem with the person they were accommodating at that time. I understand that. But with the next one, it took a lot of time too! Not because they were having problems but simply because they are so slow! There was only one attendant at the reception who has to accommodate check-ins and answer calls. They must add a receptionist. I waited for 40 mins, just to check-in. The floor of my room was sticky. The television was not working. The next day, it was already working, but with the wrong remote control, so I had to stand-up if I want to change the channel. And worse, the buttons are not working well too! Breakfast is 7-9AM, and they did not tell me that during the check-in. They told me that I can check-out any time, even early in the morning. So I did, 6:50AM.. And they won't let me in in the reception area. I had to check-out through the window. Just wondrin if it will cost them too much hassle to let me in for a moment, because it was cold outside. This was March 15, 2019. The receptionist was not kind too.

    Poor 2.0
THEY TRY TO CHARGE ME TWICE!!!! I try to check in at 9pm, was told that they can't find the reservation, I call expedia and 1 hour later nothing... Called again and they told me they heen calling the hotel and no one pick up, I handle my phone and the "found" thr reservation. Told me I got pay them and once I inform that I paid expedia already, they told me Expedia will refund me. Called Expedia again and they inform me that was not true, wait another hour for the guy to pick up the phone, and he told me very rude that he "found" the payment. Finally check in at 11:30pm!!!! The room needs improvement, very old and not the very clean. Save your money and stay someplace else, I didnt have any extra $$$ to cancel and book someplace else or I would have done that.

The stuff is very bad To check in I was alone in the desk and my reservation was there already showed up, took 25 minutes The price was 34 $ online plus tax reach 49$ but after booking, it jumps up to 60$ !then there is more fees at the hotel about 9$ don’t know why? They recommend to give them deposit in cash ! I have a fight at same day at 2:24 pm So I had to leave early to catch the fight because the airport was 30 minutes away and need time to return the rental car The guys took 25 $ for late check up !! So it ends up the booking almost 95$ total The guy was very rude and even he pushed me out and was smiling that he made me upset and took unacceptable more money from me They took advantage from my tight times me to go to airport and the cash deposit Was humiliating behaive Not recompiled at all to go to this hotel

    Book elsewhere
Of all the hotels we've stayed at in the I Drive area, this is one I would not return to. Our 1st room on the front, facing I Drive. This would have been nice if not for the food trucks out front that have music blaring until 2am. The fire alarm started going off for no reason. Around 3am, one of the food vendors truck alarm went off for over 30 minutes. After a full day at Universal Studios, we just wanted to sleep, which proved very difficult. The fridge in the room is tiny and they do not provide a microwave. You have to put your room key in a slot in the wall in order to activate power to the room. When you leave for the day, power is cut off so the AC and fridge do not stay on. We opted to "borrow" an extra key for $10 but they give it back upon check out. It's definitely a value hotel but there are many others that are much better for the same cost in the vicinity, such as the Econo Lodge directly behind this one. Will not stay here again.
