We loved this little hidden gem. It's just a short walk to the beach where for $10/person we enjoyed the use of the lounge chairs at Bananarama for the duration of our stay. Celeste and her staff are just wonderful. They will arrange tours for you and we really enjoyed the snorkeling trip we took with her and a few of our fellow guests. We loved Roatan and WBL was perfect for us and we will definitely return.

Quiet place with great people
The location makes it perfect to head to the beach easily but also be away from the noise of the bars and restaurants. The place is surrounded by trees and plants and feels very serene. The staff was incredibly nice and went out of the way to help with any request. Snorkeling with the guide they recommended (Edin) exceeded expectations. I would definitely return here if I am able to get back to Roatan.

Such a cozy, cabin-like feel with great attention to detail and guest service. Pleasant pool with a choice of sun and shade. Beach umbrellas provided for the days on a shadeless beach, and endless drinking water. Parking was possible, staff friendly, a walk to the beach easy. If I come back to Roatan, I’ll be staying here.

West Bay Lodge is situated 3 minutes off of West Bay Beach. Wonderful beach, with great snorkeling, magnificient food choices and varied water activities. Beach is safe and secure and an easy walk along the beach. We stayed in the condos across from the main West Bay Lodge property. Trip included transfers to and from the airport, welcome cocktail and daily breakfast that varied each day based upon island cuisine. This was our 4th time staying at West Bay and we have never had a bad experience.

Staff was awesome as well as the food. Killed a cockroach in the bathroom. The junior suite its located across the main hotel were it didn’t have internet access or cable for the TV.

What I liked was the friendly vibe once you arrive. The owner & workers at the lodge are friendly & helpful. What i did not like was the heavy presence of ants in my room. Ants are attracted to sweets as well as wooden furniture which makes up majority of the resort.

Noicy, old, expensive
Premises are not in good condition. They look old and cleanliness of external areas does not send to be a daily priority of the administration. Rate is high compared to what you get in terms of service, facilities and cleanliness.
