We had a great stay at Super Hotel Lohas. Everything was clean and comfortable with nice amenities like yukatas for the onsen and a selection of different pillow types. The breakfast had a good selection and was well-priced. The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English.

I would stay here again.
The room was small, but that is fairly typical of Japanese hotels so it's not really a problem. Somehow my husband and I ended up in a room with a bunk bed, but the bottom bunk was a reasonably wide double bed and that was much appreciated. (Double beds in Japan can sometimes be quite narrow.) There were nice amenities when we checked in, and the location of the hotel was excellent. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and within walking distance of a train station that is on a major line. We didn't purchase breakfast at the hotel, but we walked past it in the morning and it looked amazing. There is also an onsen in the hotel, but unfortunately we only stayed one night and didn't have enough time to go to the onsen. Also, one unusual but nice perk is that they had a bunch of pillows of different types (thickness, consistency) in the lobby that you could pick to use beyond what was in the room. They had clean pillow cases to use with whatever extra pillow you chose.
