Over the design of the villa was great but the overall cleanliness could have been better. Also, the pool needed to be cleaned as well.

Apparently The Leaf is just coming up 4 years old but it could be 15 years old by the look of the place. External floorboards lifting, lacking stain polish, poor bathroom lighting and the main door lock not working (taking we frustrated guests up to 10-minutes to access our room after 12-15 swipe card attempts), are just some of the issues. The 1.5 meter crack in the shower recess glass (held together with sticky tape), has been in that state for over 12-months based on older reviews. Surely the business has property and public indemnity insurance!! The food is basic and with breakfast closing at 10:30am has surprisingly the clearing away and non-replacement of offerings at 09:55am! The staff are gorgeous, professional and well trained.

My wife has a restricted diet, she particularly enjoyed the variety she had to choose from and had a big breakfast each day that suited her requirements. The location was also excellent with cheap taxi rides wherever we needed to go and a free hotel transfer bus to Kuta each day or samastra or the beach. The room was very large and private we could sit by our own private pool each day, no smokers with no one else around, very private. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend the Leaf and will be staying there ourselves in future visits.

We stayed in a Spearmint villa with a private pool, sun deck, kitchenette and a lot of open space all for our own use. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has two restaurants offering good food at a reasonable price. The menus however do not have too many choices. Dining in the rooftop restaurant while watching the sun set was one of the highlights of the stay. Location of the hotel is not good if you want to reach anything of interest within walking distance. Overall speaking, this hotel is a good pick for a couple looking for a spacious environment with a high degree of privacy.

Nice Villa, good menu and food in a quite location
The hotel staff were very helpful & friendly. The room was always cleaned well and efficiently. Breakfast was delivered on time. Private pool water was clean and enjoyable to have a swim in. Located 2.8 km's from Jimbaran Bay which was convenient by scooter and 15 mins by scooter to Balangan.
