Daiwa Roynet Hotel Ginza, Tokyo, Japan
Exceptional10.0
Large/clean rooms, friendly staff, great location!
We stayed here for the last 11 days of a 21 day trip. The first half of those 11 days was spent utilizing the remainder of our JR Pass eligibility. The second half was spent visiting Disneyland over 2 days and exploring what Tokyo had to offer. We stayed in 2 other cities and hotels - this hotel was our favorite. The staff were wonderful to deal with and the room and restroom were very spacious. We were provided with a mobile device, which really came in handy because we had been leeching off wi-fi for the entire trip! This hotel was in a great location in Ginza. We were able to take the Tokyo metro to explore places such as Shinjuku and Shibuya within 20 minutes. Tokyo Station is just a 15 minute walk, therefore connecting us to the Japan Rail network. We took the bullet train and other JR trains to explore other locations further away from Tokyo. Food-wise, there were a lot of options in the Ginza area (ranging from cheap to expensive). We also appreciated the many convenience store and fast good options in the vicinity. I would stay here again!

Good Ginza hotel
Standard Japanese hotel. Small room. Good size bathroom with bath. Very clean. Liked the onsite washing machine/dryer. Buffet breakfast was included and was quite good. Location great for Ginza shopping.

Nice hotel but wrong room size
Very nice hotel but a family of two adults and 2 children were able to be booked into a room with two single beds only. To me a standard twin room has two double/queen sized beds. In a very upmarket area so be prepared for mostly expensive shopping and eating options.
