Great ryokan experience
The hotel is easy to access via various train lines, note that the closest train stop is a local line but it is still pretty easy to access it. The ryokan is very well kept and equipped with great amenities, perfect for families or a group of friends (can easily fit 4 people). We especially loved that the ryokan includes local Japanese breakfast which was the perfect thing to wake up to. The only thing that guests might need to consider is the slight lack of restaurants around the area, we only saw a few restaurants and several convenience stores around the corner. With that said, we could easily take 1-2 train stops away to get to a more busy area with lots of food options. Overall, we loved it and will definitely come back again.

Very good 8.0
The hotel is at the quiet suburban edge of Shinjuku, one local metro stop away. It offers a comfortable Japanese onsen experience in the city of Tokyo. This was my second stay at this property and I would have given it five stars across the board except for our checkout experience, where we had a rather unpleasant experience with surprising rude treatment by the front desk manager, Juran Nitte, who clearly needs more training in customer service or else a different job.

A Little Quiet and Relaxation in a Crazy City
We didn't want to stay right in the thick of all of the action so booked a king room at this ryokan style hotel about a 20 minute walk from Shinjuku Station (there are closer train stops as well). The outdoor tub was amazing and worth the upgrade! Super relaxing to sink into after a long flight. There was also a very large wet room with shower and tub indoors, and a bedroom separate from the main living space. Great friendly service, they brought breakfast each morning, and there's a relaxation room stocked with water and wine that has massage chairs, another welcome surprise after a long travel day.

Great Ryokan
This place is like living with the locals. Great service. True Japanese experience. Breakfast is great but only had 2 choices so can be tiring if you’re staying more than 3 days. Only 1 stop from shinjuku for more food options.

Nice hide away.
If you need to stay in this area, this is the place to do it. I don't believe there are that many great options but this place is great.

Loved our stay, will be back here
The hotel staff were so kind and so helpful, spoke great English, and the rooms were spacious, clean, super comfortable and had nice amenities. The nearby neighborhood (about 1/2 mile North) was really cool as well.

Great stay
Very nice and peaceful hotel. We had a private open air bath tub, which was very relaxing and beautiful. The room was cleaned and well stocked with anything you may need on your stay, including Netflix & free bottled water & coffee. The hotel looked very traditional Japanese style and the room was cozy.
