Seacoast NOT suite!!
This place is a dump. The staff are surly and don’t know the meaning of the term “customer service”. Our 2 BR suite looked nothing like the photos on hotels.com so be wary of the “bait and switch”. The renovations to our suite were not even what you would qualify as builder’s basic. On the day of our departure (10 am checkout!) the manager banged on our door at 10:15 and told us to get out or we would be charged for another day. The suite was poorly equipped with a few spoons, forks and a two coffee cups and some plates. The owners are not interested in proving a great guest experience but maximizing their profits by furnishing with the cheapest stuff they could find. Finally, the presence of armed guards in the property is a little unnerving. Why do you need people with guns strapped to their waists guarding your property in Miami? We have stayed in many properties in Miami Beach before and have never seen security guards with open carry weapons, only law enforcement. The location is great which is about the only thing this dump has going for it. Avoid at all costs.

We were very disappointed with the seacoast suites. The pictures online look nothing like the actual facility. Everything is extremely outdated and falling apart. Our room had the bare minimum. Calling the “hotel” a resort is completely unnecessary. The restaurant was closed, there was no heat and the rooms were frigid, we had no hot water, the tub was filthy, and the pool chairs were moldy. When we asked for additional towels/blankets there were none. The elevators never worked so we had to use the service elevator to leave the facility. We ended up paying for day passes at another hotel nearby because we were afraid to use the I’ll-maintained pool. I just wish that the pictures online were more representative of the apartment. We would not have chosen to stay there. Had we known what we were getting into. Very disappointing. We will not be returning to Seacoast.

False Fire alarm went off at 5am and entire building evacuated. Front desk did not want to provide extra bath towels and asked why we needed them. Gym was in terrible shape. Machines are old and the only bike was broken and the rest of the room was dirty and outdated. Microwave in room had broken handle that came completely off and was never fixed. Bedroom drawer was broken. Room had a lot of space but very outdated furniture. Bed matress was very uncomfortable. Was not able to get late check out on a Thursday. Check out time was 10am and someone literally knocked on our door at 9:59am to ask if we were leaving. We had the hotel hold our bags until our taxi came 2 hours later and rhey charged us $5 per bag. This hotel is old and falling apart and the staff is rude. Do not stay here.
