    My family and I was mistreated by Megan Miller. She threatened me several times and I had to wait for over an hour for a clean room. Detorihad Hadley offered to clean a room for my family to have a place to sleep for the night. While Megan insisted that I found another hotel after I had already paid for the room and received confirmation. Megan Miller informed me she was unable to provide a refund or a room for me. Detorihad stepped up and provided excellent customer service. Megan Miller was very mean and disrespectful to me my family. Megan also talked to Detorihad as if her was sone type of servant instead of a fellow employee or team member. Which I found very offensive and disrespectful. The rate for my room should have been $200.00, I was charged $374.10.

    Warning DO NOT stay at this hotel! First off when we arrived they put in a room that was already occupied. We left today and I just received a $75 charge on my credit card. I called the hotel and asked what this was about. They said it was because I ruined the towels. First off, I didn’t even shower at this hotel because it was that nasty. Secondly, when I spoke to the housekeeping manager they just hung up the phone on me when I was asking for proof of the so called “damaged towel”. I have never heard of a damage towel charge. A towel does not cost $75. I’m not one to write a bad review. The hotel was gross as a whole but I wasn’t going to write a review until I got charged this unauthorized charge and then was hung up on. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

    Nice hotel, but I question the value. I feel that I paid too much for the room that we had for 3 nights. Room 225 had a very slow draining bathroom sink, a shower door strip that was loose (until I put it back in place), and a TV that only worked with direct tuning. Chalk it up to Covid, short-staffing, I dunno. Oh yeah, and the breakfast was no better than what Choice Hotels offers. I might expect otherwise from a Marriott-owned chain. Would I visit again in the future? . . . Probably not.

    The check-in staff was very friendly, as were most of the staff we encountered during our stay. A decent breakfast was available daily with a variety of options. There was a very nice outdoor seating area off of the dining area and the fitness center looked very nice. Our room was nicely decorated and appeared clean. My only complaints were the pool was very small, and the refrigerator in our room did not work. We went down the next morning and told the front desk about the refrigerator and the maintenance man happened to be standing there and followed us to our room to check on the fridge and within 10 minutes, was back with a replacement, then came back with additional towels to replace the ones used to clean up the water that leaked from the fridge. Very pleased with how quick the problem was resolved.

    The building and exterior were fairly new. What was disappointing was the cleanliness of this newer property. Overall unkept floors and sofas in the entryway. The bathroom floor in my room didn’t look mopped before my stay and the shower was not clean. The cleaning staff should use brushes to get in the corners to clean the shower mold. The coffee was good in the morning but the breakfast was looking kind of gross, so I skipped it.

    Checked in around 530pm yesterday after a 3 hour drive. Got to our room and proceeded to get ready for our engagement pictures that were to take place at a nearby state park. I hopped in the shower, and noticed the bar of soap was unwrapped and used. Shampoo was also open and half used. Toilet also had dried fecal matter all over the bowl. Some sort of splatter spill on the wall under the sink area. Also noticed drink rings on some of the tables/desk. Immediately went to front desk and demanded another room. Which they did, but was on another floor. Had to pack up belongings and transfer to another floor. The whole process grossed us out, made us questions the cleanliness of the whole hotel, and also in turn made us late to our engagement photo session. Would not recommend. They did not have a manager on site when I asked for the room change, still did not have one the next day when we check out around 9am today. They did take my name and number but I have yet to hear anything as of 2pm. Highly disappointed.
