Great location & updated facilities
The Perkin Hotel was a great choice. Photos are exactly the same and even better in real life. The downstairs street is a popular shisha and drinks/food area. I was worried about the noise but all windows are sound proof and ease of access is on the side street. Would highly recommend.

Great hotel
The hotel is in a great location with easy access to public transport and the main tourist areas. Lots of restaurants very close if you don't want to go far for food. On arrival our taxi driver dropped us at the end of Knutsford Terrace and it was a flat walk with our luggage. Rooms are very quiet and air conditioning was great. Bed was comfortable and good shower. Wifi is fast and reliable. Breakfast is minimal. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it was good value for money.

Great location, great staff and nice touches
This hotel was very convenient for me. I could take the A21 to stop 12 at Kimberley Road and it was a 5 minute walk from there. The rooms were clean and modern and the staff were all helpful and friendly. Down in Kimberley Road turn left to a simple Asian bun shop where the bbq pork buns just melt in your mouth. The best meal I had in Hong Kong and at $11HK per bun also the cheapest. The Hotel is in a laneway full of popular bars that filled at night time so for those who like to end their day with a drink plenty of good options there (but not cheap). The breakfast was a simple affair more akin to a hostel set up with paper plates and plastic cutlery and spreads in a jar but once you get over that you could make yourself a standard breakfast with toast corn flakes, yoghurt single serve tubs and boiled eggs on offer. The coffee machine was a George Clooney style coffee maker that made decent coffee. Very nice touches that you could help yourself to the mini bar for free with 4-5 drinks in while if restocked you started paying. Also the small lounge at reception one could help oneself to coffee, tea or apple any time of day. I do like such little gestures. Two blocks to the MRT makes it convenient to get around. Plenty of food options nearby. As someone who has been to Hong Kong 5-6 times before I will be bake at this hotel next time. Staff were lovely and gave me good directions for coffee shops, printers and little places that I needed. Thanks for a great stay.
