Sleepless in KC
I guess someone has been renovating a door in the room above me. For the past couple of weeks. Lots of LOUD stomping, thuds and more stomping. Since I’m working from here, it’s pretty unbearable. I also have to sleep with earplugs and two pillows over my head because this door renovator works at all hours of the day and night. It could be anywhere from 1am -10:30pm. It’s also a no go when I’m trying to sleep in on a day off. Not sure how long a door repair takes or why one would need to do this at 1am *shrug*. I tried being patient and held off on writing a review but I’m beyond my limit.

TERRIBLE SERVICE
It was filthy. Shower didnt even work . Cabinet waa falling in. Look like roach egg in the drawers. There was no soap or towels. The toilet ran all night. This was the worse place to stay in. The staff was very unprofessional. Two of them drinking and having sex in the parking lot in a car.

Staff was rude, threatened to throw out in street due to their own incompetence, had paid through Expedia, they couldn’t perform their job correctly snd tried to say I owned more money to stay, Expedia fortunately set them straight. Wouldn’t ever stay here again.

The train horn blew at midnight, 2am, 4am, no coffee cups. could not even make our own coffee. When I arrived it took 15 minutes for someone to come help me. (No one was at the desk.)

Not very nice.
The room was not worth what I spent. The TV was very small, no remote control, & the pillows were awful! I would not stay again.

Decent if you need a hotel for your dogs.
They gave me a handicapped room, which looked decent, but they didn’t provide anything. I was so tired and needed a shower and a nap. Unfortunately, the shower was dirty, like actual film and dirt all around. The worst part was the shower head was laying in the seat. It was broken off so I couldn’t attach it and take a regular shower, which was half the reason I checked in. The bathroom stank and there was no soap or any sanitizer of any sort available. I never expect anything free, but no soap during covid seemed gross to me. While waiting to check-in there was some lady, of the crack head variety, running around yelling at everyone, whether in their cars or not. Idk what the people next to me were doing but they were so loud I actually found somewhere else to sleep that night. I wish I could’ve brought my dogs with me, but I couldn’t so they stayed the night. I would’ve mentioned this at check out if there was anyone there.
