This property is excellent for its location and set up. It’s right across the road from the beach. Rooms are surrounded by forest trees and some wildlife has shown up. Amenities are decent, but very good value for the price. Staff, very friendly polite and accommodating. They would call for Covid testing, they would call for transportation to the airport, they will book any excursions. Restaurant small but good. A good place to take a vacation.

The hotel is in a very convenient spot. Restaurants where about 15 minute walk or less. When i did taxi a taxi it was about 2000 colons...about 3 bucks. The park was located about a 20 minute walk, beach was 5 minute walk. The pool was kinda small but clean. The restaurant/bar had off hours. So you could not get a beer when ever felt like it. Also no dessert but the coffee was good.

The staff here was wonderful. They were very helpful and friendly. It is a great location, with an easy walk to the beach and a 15-minute walk to the national park. Rooms were comfortable and had fun murals on the wall. Rocking chairs on the balcony made it easy to enjoy outdoor time. Food was very good and they even cooked up some fish that another hotel guest caught.

The food at the on-site restaurant was fantastic, and the location was perfect- quick walk to the beach or a short drive to the park. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And we saw lots of monkeys right from the pool! Great stay for our family.

Wow just wow, this hotel was everything I could have asked for! If you’re hoping to see monkeys and feel like you’re a part of the jungle this is the hotel for you! If you’re hoping to be walking distance from the beach (5min) or the national park (15min) this is also the place for you! This hotel gave me everything I could’ve wanted in Costa Rica! We had some great food from the restaurant on site. All of the staff made us feel very welcome and was able to give us ideas of places to eat, things to do, and how to book adventurous trips! I really cannot say enough good things about our stay here. Thank you Chris and thank you Jungle Beach for making us feel right at home in Manuel Antonio! Can’t wait to come back. Pura Vida

My teenaged sons and I stayed for 4 nights. The monkeys are awesome to watch. They did not come down and grab food or stuff from us, but they certainly provided a lot of amusement with their scampers and jumps. We also heard a lot of howler monkey howls in the mornings. The hotel is right in the middle of a monkey corridor and the land in back of the hotel is basically protected forest land, so the hotel is ideally situated. We saw mostly white-faced monkeys as well as howlers. The hotel has surprisingly good food. We ate at some high-end restaurants in the Quepos area, but we wound up choosing to eat at Jungle Beach because their food was actually better. I also liked the 2 for 1 happy hours each afternoon. The location is awesome. It's a quick walk to the beach or to surfing or to parasailing, and my sons and I walked back and forth to Manuel Antonio Park as well. Great great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they helped with booking our excursions each day. They were great. Finally, the rooms were fine. The beds and shower were all perfectly fine, but we weren't there to hang out in the rooms. We wanted to be outside as much as possible. One word of warning: the Wifi does not work inside the rooms because the walls are built of concrete, so you have to sit outside your room to get Wifi. Or go to the restaurant area. Otherwise, it's all great. We would go back in a heartbeat. I will really miss Jungle Beach Hotel.

My family just stayed here last week, and it was a great experience. We stayed in a nice family suite on the top level above the reception. It was very private, and we had our own balcony. The rooms are dated and not in perfect condition, but it felt clean and we had space to spread out. We loved our private balcony, as we were able to see (and hear!) many monkeys. We saw way more monkeys here than we did in the national park. Monkeys were active in the mornings and it was a riot to watch them. Also a nice, short walk to the beach (3-5 minutes). I would absolutely stay here again! Great location, a great jungle environment, and friendly staff.
