Poor
Not quite what the reviews say.
On arrival we realised we'd made a mistake. Had booked for 2 nights and even though we had to pay for the 2nd night we only stayed the one. We booked 2 cabins on the good reviews and not the price. Unfortunately the rustic quaint cabin turned out to be a huge disappointment. I would call it tired full of mismatched cheap furniture. The sheets were clean but the bedspread was old stained and crumpled and the carpet needed a good clean. Cabin 2 had been renovated so looked a little better.

Alberta to BC Stopover
A bout of snow delayed our trip back to BC from Edmonton. Clearwater was the closest destination. Overlook Inn and Cabins graciously accommodated us and our pet. We were so pleasantly surprised at how uncomplicated the registration process was and how extremely delightful the young lady at the desk was. The cabin was a pleasant surprise. Very, very rustic with the most comfortable four poster bed in the bedroom! A second bed in the main room was almost as comfortable. They floor was clean, clean, the bathroom was small but clean, the kitchen was adequate with stove, fridge, micro, coffee pot, toaster. we could have lived there so comfortably for months. Didn't get a chance to see the river as we arrived late and left early. Definitely a great place to stay.

Perfect
The cabin was really cozy and bigger than we expected. Kept nice and warm in the winter, with a big TV, comfy bed and smooth check-in.

Only spent one night. Comfortable bed. Showee was a bit small.

The property was beautiful. We stayed in a cabin for the weekend, which they were nice enough to upgrade us to for free! It was gorgeous and close to Wells Gray. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well.

A bit run down and dated. But clean and not the standard motel room.

Cute cabins near the park
The cabins are basic but comfortable and cute. The service was really outstanding and super friendly, which makes such a huge difference. We received a free cabin upgrade, which was much appreciated and were even offered hiking poles to borrow for snowshoeing. The kitchen was great --- a full oven/stove, fridge/freezer and there were all the regular applicances including coffeemaker, kettle and toaster. There is no corkscrew though, so be aware if you bring a bottle of wine! Overall, a great place to stay, good value and I would definitely come back!

Cabins
It was much better than we were expecting. It’s obviously not a five star hotel, but the cabins were clean and cozy, the beds were comfy, the kitchenette With dishes made life easier Since we were there for a hockey tournament. Check in was easy and the drop box for keys made checking out simple.Great service as well!

Lovely rustic setting, mural on the wall. Other guests were sitting around a campfire

We did not stay at this property - but were switched to the Jasper Inn with a view off the porch to Dutch Lake. It was great- though the room sizes were very small- no closets space and minimal walking space. Everything else was top notch though !
