The Beach Apartments

This hotel is overpriced and did not meet expectations. Check in was slow and inefficient,the food is below standard,the beach in front of the hotel is fille with litter.The sun beds around the pool are dirty.We would never stay here again.Overpriced and disappointing.

This is a nice hotel and pool. Everything you need for a night or 2 on arrival or departure. We did not find the ocean inviting for a swin but a walk was fine. Has shops very close if you prefer to eat out. The restaurant food was very good. The lagoon tour we took was great in the late afternoon.

We were only there for 2 nights before our flight out from Colombo but it was a good hotel for that period. Food was not great but there are many choices for food along Lewis Place. 2 balconies, 2 air conditioners and 2 fans were all pretty special. Nice pool.

Friendly staff and good location. We stayed in a beach view for 2 nights. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The balcony was a good size and the views are excellent. The pool was will placed with some shade and sun. Not expecting the washing machine and kitchen which would be useful for a longer stay. Breakfast was ok but better value out on the street.

We stayed 4 friends in the suite with 2 rooms. It was so nice to be able to cook our own food after a month as backpackers :)) The service was great, and we got everything we asked for. The beds were comfortable and the food in the restaurant was great!

It is not a gorgeous hotel. But hotel staff is very kind. Food is nice. They don’t have alcohol license. We should buy ourselves if we want. I had to leave before breakfast time and they prepared packed breakfast for us.

Good position. Easy to find. Good after a lonf night flight.

We booked this hotel for 3 nights and already paid in full, but after arriving realized that place was not up to standards as it was advertised on internet. The staff was friendly, but not efficient in communication also they did not had enough staff. Lobby looked run down, not pleasant, we were not comfortable to eat at this place because restaurant area did not looked cleaned (due to having children, food safety and safety of our children was our first priority). Rooms looked ok and spacious, but swimming pool area was not cleaned. Our family had to looked for another place to stay as soon as possible and luckily found Jetwing Beach Hotel to check in. I will definitely not recommend this hotel to families with children.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Room had a kitchen, which we didn't need, but can be very useful. Small workout room on top floor which is not expected in such a small hotel. Staff packed us a takeaway breakfast as we had to catch a flight a O - dark thirty.
