A hidden treasure in the middle of a charming village. Check in was fuss-free and friendly, the room was gorgeous and the pub itself was fabulous. Traditional flagstone floor, wonderful outdoor seating area and to top it all, the food was of a high standard and freshly cooked. Would highly recommend.

Very pleasant mine host and friendly breakfast cook; comfortable room; (but bathroom daddy longlegs spider by wash-basin could perhaps have been rehoused). A nice overnight stay at a reasonable price

We only stayed one night in a double room with en-suite in Hattie’s House which is a building across the car park and had a wonderful evening meal in the pub itself. The interior of the pub was exceptionally warm and inviting. The breakfast was good also.
