Nice place Amazing Staff a little outdtd furniture

The staff works hard, and they are pretty nice with every one. The hotel is a little outdated, there are some issues in the rooms here and there, but are ok. The beach is not that good, but the accomodations they have in place are nice and help a lot. Did I mention the staff is amazing? The Food is tasty, but the options are not that many.

      Not worth your money.

Worst hotel experience. They tried to give me a room I did not book. A hotel that should not be supported. Not worth it. Trust me. Better to stay at a hotel in Cartagena.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Fenix Beach! It was the perfect getaway for a small vacation where our main focus was to unplug, relax, and get some sun. Freddy and his team were very welcoming and willing to accommodate requests for excursions into the city and to explore the island. The facilities were also beautiful and the food excellent. We will definitely return and bring friends!

Overall good, but could use some improvement

There's a lot of potential for this hotel to be amazing. Gorgeous surroundings, but too much trash on the beach and "service" depends on server. They allow day guests to hinder the experience of hotel guests, i.e., no extra pillows, only 2 daybeds avail, 1 hour wait for lunch. It's unfortunate as I've stayed at a competing hotel, same island & had a more satisfying trip. 1) Ensure ALL reservations for meals & daybeds for hotel guests are FIRST. When you don't, your hotel guests paying 3x's as much as day guests end up feeling in competition with them. At your competition on the island, not once did I feel in competition for space/SERVICE. Day trip guests were not on premises during breakfast & all arrangements for hotel guests were made at that time or the day/night before. 2) Hotel guests are spending MUCH more than day trips. As a guest, NOT ONE TIME have I been told in a hotel that I could not have my personal bottle of "drinks" on the beach because the hotel has a bar. The hotel guest is CAPTIVE and MUST eat your food all day/night AND they're PAYING for a room; hence, there's no sensible reason to restrict consumption of personal beverages onsite. Simply bring a bucket for them, as day trippers are NOT hotel guests paying the price of a room plus MULTIPLE meals/drinks per day. This isn't a hostal, we're paying a PREMIUM price to stay there & should be allowed to drink what we want, after all, you're making VERY good money on every meal... just be respectful of that.

Great location and facilities. Bar and restaurant great. The room was clean but quite basic. Very quiet at night during the week and on Friday which was unexpected.

      Fyre Fest meets Get Out

This hotel was...less than ideal. We came in expecting a somewhat cheesy resort experience, but this was way worse than we thought. First of all, they were still building the place when we arrived. There was construction happening through the night, and then it would wake us up at 8 am the next morning -- which was especially rough since the mattresses in the rooms are rock hard and horrible. Service was lackluster at best, and the music they blast ALL DAY is AWFUL. There's no chill at all. Also the ocean is, sadly, incredibly polluted with plastic and other floating trash. It honestly felt like the place was constructed for wannabe instagram influencers, as long as they used LOTS of filters and cropping, without any real thought put into comfort or actual quality. There was very little communication about how to catch the boat to and from the island, and there was no flexibility on the timing at all. The resort is in also in a completely secluded area -- very few options to eat or drink or buy anything you might need except at the hotel, where it's all INCREDIBLY overpriced, especially for the quality. We ended up, thankfully, finding a great little shack down the beach run by a local woman who could not have been more friendly and wonderful, plus there wasn't any terrible music blasting. It was a welcome respite. The best thing about this place is the dogs who lovingly hang out with you at the beach and around the hotel. Would come back for them, but not much else.

-they never call us about the transport -the place isn’t the same as you see in the photos, it’s different. -they don’t have light in the pool( in the night it’s really dark). -the hotel it’s too expensive and don’t deserve spend the money in that hotel. -the only things I like was the staff they were really nice with us and the food( but it’s expensive as well) After we stay in there we realized there are more good hotels and a good prices!!
