The restaurant, pool and room were all great and u
Found the person on the front desk was very rude. I had put my credit card in the machine and felt I had put it in too soon because nothing was happening when I was told “that I would have to put it in again and that I needed to be more patient.” Also I had noticed there was a large puddle of water on the floor in the middle of the lobby and after checking in wanted to do something but the clerk was already on the phone. Thought of putting one of the orange vases off the fireplace to mark the water. I went out to the car, parked, gathered all my things and walked back to the lobby. I noticed the water was still there and the clerk was off the phone so brought the water issue up to the clerk. “yes we will take care of it”. Replied that it had been there and nothing had been done and there had been time for several people could of fallen. I then headed to the elevator and when my friend arrived at the elevator I was telling her about the water when the clerk came around the corner saying “I don’t appreciate your comments” as she was taking a mop out of a closet. I felt she was very rude and how dare she say that to me, especially in response to overhearing my private conversation.

First night of 2-night stay was miserable because the a/c would not stay on and the room was too hot to sleep comfortably. Report of this in the morning brought immediate attention and a replacement of the unit. Second night was much better. Important note, especially in COVID times: when the maintenance man removed the cover of the old unit, the filter was coated with grime. The filters in these units should be cleaned regularly to keep guests healthy.
