Lovely Boutique Hotel
This is a lovely boutique hotel located in the heart of Moscow's theatre and shopping districts and a stone's throw away from Red Square. I stayed in two rooms over the course of my stay and both were comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfast is excellent and I recommend it whether it is included in your hotel price or not. The internet was good and the hotel was able to print something for me, which was very helpful. The rooms had excellent air conditioning units and integrated fans at your control. The hotel is surrounded by many good restaurants and cafes, but you can have lunch and dinner within the hotel as well or just a drink. A block from the hotel was a non-commission money exchange, which was very useful and open most days. The hotel felt safe and there are small safes in the room. The staff was extremely pleasant, cheerful and helpful. With its location, small scale and amenities, this hotel is ideal if you are travelling alone.

Good
The location was SUPERB. Couldn't ask for better...come out and there is so many places to see and eat and go to. The red square was close by.. and very many nice stores. The hotel was clean but very dusty... i could smell mold and so could my boyfriend in the carpet especially...awful. The air conditioner was absolutely awful. It was so hot in the room, almost unbearable. We told the reception and his response was ...'well it's better in here than it is outside' ...ok then! We live in south Texas so pretty accustomed to hotels having air conditioners that work. Anyways the breakfast was good but COLD. One day we came early and one day late..both times cold as ice. Anyways, staff was nice and they spoke English... can't say ill be back. Pay $100 more for something better. Your comfort is worth it....

Hidden fees and bad customer service
I would not recommend staying here, purely based on the customer service. There were a lot of hidden fees that the staff was purposely misleading about. For example, we asked if breakfast was included and were told yes and then were charged at checkout for breakfast. Their excuse was that the person we asked did not speak English well, so we still had to pay. Our friends requested a late check out and they said yes no problem, with no further conversation about a late check our fee being added. And then at check out they were charged for that. Has this been clear they would have checked out earlier.

Excellent stay for enjoying downtown of Moscow
I was staying in this hotel at the first time. Location is excellent, walking distance to all most famous Moscow landmarks. We were walking around an entire city center up to 2am without any fears or difficulties to find historical places for seeing in night light. Moscow is amazing in evening light!! And everything is very close from this hotel. Rooms are a bit small but for price rate and quality it is very good. I would recommend to ask a room faces to back side of the building because the street is very busy with tourists and at evening time street musicians can be pretty noisy. I will recommend to all my friends.

Great location, but room for improvement
Check in took way too long. Having worked Hotel reception myself, I understand that it shouldn't take that long. Staff, although very polite and helpful, were either new, or disorganized. They also spend a great deal of time trying to push their restaurant and spa services, when all we waned to do was get to our room after a long journey. Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable and sagged dramatically in the middle. The pillows were also terrible, but the hotel offers a service that allows you to pick the type of pillow you want. We did this, but the replacement pillows were just as bad. Hotel located across the road from the Hermitage which was very convenient.
