Great little spot
Cannot complain about this great little country pub with warm and comfortable basic accomodation. A great stepping off point for the snow fields.

Cheap and great.
A great, inexpensive place to stay on the way to the snow. Can’t beat it for a warm room and bed with excellent pub food on ground floor.

This is a nice solid older style hotel that had a welcome roaring fire on a cold night in a well patronised bar. We had a room next to the shared amenities, with a heater (no aircon). Beds were very comfortable and room was surprisingly quiet. This is budget accomodation and priced accordingly. Especially appreciated as all motels were fully booked for day 1 of snow season.

Great hotel and even greater restaurant.
Lovely and modern restored room. Restaurant was awesome even for a vegetarian the choices were many and delicious!! Room was a bit tight for me but that’s because the bed’s huge. Had trouble finding a spot for my bag. But noisy but it is a thriving pub.
