There was nothing we particularly liked. When we arrived, the motel had changed hands and the new proprietor had no record of our (pre-paid) bookings and said that she was full. However, under some pressure she made two rooms available and we had somewhere to sleep.
They had spent quite a lot of money making the rooms look kitsch and crass and ugly, eg exposed copper water pipes all over the place, a bare, used corrugated iron ceiling, an inverted bucket for a light shade, no soap holder in the shower, etc., etc. It was as scruffy as hell. The bed, however was OK. Never again.
