Wow! I have never stayed in such a clean motel. I enjoyed the thoughtful contemporary design and amenities. The manager was 100% engaged in making sure his guests had a good not only at the hotel, but in Port MacQuarie as well. G

2/10 Poor

Give this place a miss
Better the second night as we went down town and bought a decent blanket $59 to keep warm. The AC did work night 2. Towels were still on the bathroom floor ( as per instructions on Eco friendly) and not changed so a 10pm return to cold wet towels!!! The Management said due to privacy they do not enter rooms then went on to say they came on and checked out the AC- double standards for sure. Never saw any reception staff despite calling the day before staying 2 nights and leaving the third day. Wifi never worked while time said connected but so weak strength would allow event emails to open. As they say once bitten twice shy so we booked onto another motel where there are staff, things work and very happy. They also left a receipt for our room showing payment from a card not mine? Funny to see sloppy bookwork as firstly I prepaid as it was an extra $20 per night if you paid on arriving plus the fact they used someone's card not mine.

We froze ,the WiFi never worked ,we bought blanket
Night two was warm as the AC worked on the second night plus WE spent $69 and purchased a WARM blanket . However on return late at night the wet towels left as per Eco friendly instructions on the floor to be changed were still there wet and cold. With management ( absent at all of our stay plus the Friday when we called on to discuss parking and Sunday when we left ) saying breach of privacy to enter rooms if client not there. The WiFi still did not work. It says connected but is so weak it's unusable ( maybe the dreaded Economy room option?). I am in Port regularly so used a contact to meet a tradie who confirmed " they often have AC issues , especially in the small block" How lucky then we were to be in the main block at least the lights worked.
