Next to the ocean
The location is great- right across from the ocean. You can walk to the ocean from the motel. The location is about 5km from Apollo Bay. There is a bus that runs from lorne that can drop you off closer to the motel. I took the bus to apollo bay and then walked back - which took about 1.5 hrs along the sea at low tide. The manager is super friendly, and helpful. The place is really clean, albeit a bit outdated.

I loved the views over the sea they were breathtaking. The rooms were lovely inside an had all the extras you needed, kettle, toaster, microwave television. The owner was very welcoming an warming an was very helpful with advice around the local area an further a feilds. Would highly recommend this lovely motel an restaurant.

Simplicity in the Otway area
Skenes Creek Motel is a simple modest place to stay. The price is fair, it is a bit old but the manager works very hard to make sure it is clean and comfortable. A good place for a couple of nights when you explore the area.
