The property is in a run down shabby and dirty comdition. The visitor sitting room was dirty, and the furniture extremely dirty. The bedroom was the same very grubby furniture. The bathroom was disgusting. The handbasin was cracked right across the middle with a missing plug hole. The bath plug hole was full of hair, the grout and tiles had mould and dirty. There were cockroaches in the bathroom. The bedroom was right next to the front door, which made it very noisy with the comings and goings of other guests. We did think a breakfast was included, but no, it would cost another $12, one look at the filthy cluttered dining room made our decision, we would eat out. The steps leading from the property were dangerous more so when wet, my husband had to attend hospital with a torn ligament after slipping. The garden was unkempt. There were only three parking spaces for four rooms. The owner took up one of those, which left two, we had to park in the street one night. There are three positives, lots of hot water, room was warm and the location next to the park. I would never recommend this property.

Beautiful building with lovely furnishings, right across the road from Queen's Park. Friendly hosts with good suggestions for local food options. Segregated area in the 'white horse room' was great as could go to and from the bathroom privately. Incredibly quiet room and area, and comfortable bed. Best night's sleep we've had in a while. Will definitely stay there again next time! Thank you!
