Our family had a great time at Woodbine Eco Cabins! Loved the solar heated pool, the open spaces for the kids to run around, the wildlife, and the fact that we could borrow all sorts of sports equipment/ books/DVDs/ toys! Cabins were basic but comfortable , and everything you need is provided eg toiletries, linen, kitchen items, even washing powder and pegs. I will happily recommend this place for a family getaway :). We’ll probably be back next year .

Family-friendly, natural, and native animals
Our Melbourne family of four immensely enjoyed our stay and could of easily stayed longer. Our young children (4&2) had a fantastic experience watching and feeding the animals and enjoying the natural surrounds. The kids were entertained, and never tired of the native wildlife including kangaroos, lorikeets, cockatoos, kookaburras, parrots, lizards, and a goanna! Whilst the wife and I enjoyed local produce, in the leafy and serene setting. The cabins are fully self-contained, roomy and clean, comfortable beds, full-size fridge, we didn't need a thing. We all enjoyed the salt water pool and the staff were friendly and happy to assist with anything.

Very close to nature. If you you would love to experience hand feeding kangaroos, wallabies and lorikeets this is the place for you. Just make sure you dont drop or leave any food on the floor because the place is inside the national park so ants are just around the corner. The property it self is well maintained and the cabin insulation is pretty good. Very close to the beach and hiking area. Highly recommended and definitely coming back.

Woodbine Eco Cabins.
Wonderful stay at Woodbine Eco Cabins. The cabins are roomy and clean, with everything supplied in the cabins. Plenty of wildlife here and you can hand feed kangaroos, lorrikeets and King parrots with food supplied by the hosts at check in. Beautiful surroundings and quiet and relaxing. Great barbecue area, tennis court and pool as well. Highly recommend a stay here.

Very good 8.0
The concept is great. The cabins are standalone duplexes with undercover parking at the door. The property is on a private dirt road, but the public road leading to it is a judder-bar nightmare. The cabins are fully self-contained but there are some quirks. There is no wash-basin - the laundry tub suffices. The washing machine (which we used) was an unfamiliar model and it took some nutting out (we could not find any instructions). The instructions for the griller deflector were unintelligible (we finished up using a frypan). Heating was per a ripper of a pot-belly stove - there was a huge wood-pile in the centre of the property. Unfortunately it was only the following morning that I found the damper, so the fire went out overnight - I had to re-light it. However, in keeping with the eco-theme, there is no AC (we stayed in autumn). The cabins are very large but the lighting throughout is a bit dull. Nearest shops are 4 km away; nearest beach 6 km by road. Not surprisingly, the wildlife has been conditioned to come in for a meal. Some of the kangaroos are quite assertive, including one mother who insisted on coming into the cabin. She could not be budged physically, but had to be lured outside using handfuls of food (supplied by the owners). As a couple, we only stayed for an overnight but families could easily stay for several nights.
