Sadly not too much going for the Alara other than the restaurant. The motel is under a noisy flight path with planes going over from 6.30am to 9.30pm. No glasses in the room, only 2 cups and 2 paper cups with one wooden teaspoon. Went over to reception and was told that due to COVID we do not have certain items in the rooms anymore, to go to the kitchen and ask for a glass. Went to kitchen and knocked on the door, no answer so went back to Reception, to be given a glass. The rooms need a decent deep clean, doors and frames were thick with grime and the toilet was dirty. Dinner in the restaurant was good, but probably due to only one friendly waitress was a tad slow. Had breakfast of cereal and toast delivered to room, but no plates came with it! We did bring up the issues with Reception upon checkout the next morning but were met with indifference.
